Do some research before you book your destination wedding. Most resorts are very upfront about whether or not outside vendors/photographers are allowed. Some resorts charge a fee of $1,000 for bringing your own photographer, but when you consider the expense after everything is all said and done, you most likely will be SAVING money in the long run by doing this, and more importantly, be happier with the results. Don't be afraid to ask & do the math!
